Rusty,

My most sincere and deepest condolences. I'm terribly sorry for your loss. I made a post on the board, but felt it appropriate to write something on here, as well. I've been following the blog since I received an email from you about it. Stay strong, brother. You both have been and still are very much in my thoughts.

I worked briefly at Stratus a few years ago and I had the privilege of speaking with Megan a few times, she was always so cheerful and helpful had a wonderful smile that I still remember.

Though I didn't know her very well, or had any real knowledge of what she was going through, after reading through her blog I will always remember her as a brave, intelligent, kind, and wonderful person.

My heart goes out to her family and her friends.

I did not know Megan but I read her blog today. She was funny and courageous. I just lost my good friend, at a young age, in July 2011 to Colon Cancer. I am so grateful Megan wrote down her thoughts as my friend did not share those thoughts with us when she was going through treatment. Reading Megan's Blog helps me to understand the triumphs and tribulations that one goes through with a Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment. God Bless all of you who loved her.

Rusty and Family-
Like others who have posted, I did not have the pleasure of knowing Megan. I was compelled to investigate her blog after reading your heartfelt obituary. I am a radiation therapist and only see a small part of the long and arduous battle my patients endure. I was touched deeply by her blog and couldnt stop reading it. I must say that I have met some of the most extraodinary people in my line of work, and Megan tops them all. (I think she would be pleased to know she came in first) Her witty humor, insight, knowledge, courage, intuition, love and courage were truly amazing and inspiring! I am so honored to have experienced her journey through reading her blogs. My prayers and thoughts to all of her family and friends!
