This is my blog about cancer. I am 30 years old and in April of 2008 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. In September of 2010 I learned I had Stage IV breast cancer with metastases to the liver.

Captain's Log, Day 1 pt. 2: Sock Update
After I finished that blog post I had a stroke of genius... (well, maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration)
Here's a picture of me in the infusion chair AND a sock check. You'll note that I've made lots of progress. I'm hoping to get to the heel soon.
That's one awesome looking sock. I love the color, it's such a change from your usual fare!
Let me know if you want some fun stripey yarn for more plain socks after J picks the pattern for you. :) I have so much here and I'd love to see it get knit up!!!
I decided to start this blog so that I could keep in touch with my family and friends and let them know what's going on with me and my health.
I was diagnosed with Stage IIb cancer on April 9th, 2008, and my treatment began soon afterward. There is so much to tell and there are so many people to tell it to, so I thought this was the best way to do it.
Please let me know if you have any questions, and I apologize in advance if anything is TMI.
